One of the most underrated shows of the summer. A rare electric version of "Come on In My Kitchen" is full of bluesy, sliding goodness in its only summer appearance. "Egypt" hits amazing heights, ".44 Blues" is nasty, and the combo of "Why Does Love Got to Be So Sad>Franklin’s Tower" has never sounded better, with a little help from moe. guitarist Al Schnier. The real fireworks come at the end, with a monumental "Les Brers in A Minor" that surges with raw power and an intense "Whipping Post."
