You Know I'm No Good was patched from a (higher bitrate) BBC2 Scotland highlights programme broadcast 2008-07-05.Some smaller patches were obtained from BBCi streams that were broadcast over the Glastonbury weekend.
Out of 15 repeats of this material, the one with the highest bitrate (2880kbps) was used:
* intro to Tears Dry On Their Own
* intro to Hey Little Rich Girl
* closing few seconds - replaced credits and early fade-out on BBC2 broadcast.
The BBCi patches have 128kbps audio.


There is still room for improvement here - 2 ways:

(1.) The bitrate for the original BBC2 time-delay broadcast would have been better from BBC2 Scotland, Wales or Northern Ireland.
This was captured on BBC2 England because this was the only BBC2 channel that could be recorded simultaneously with BBC3,(although in retrospect, it would have been wiser to switch to BBC2 Scotland for the duration).
(2). The BBC2 portion was also broadcast on BBC HD. A capture from BBC HD could have provided 384kbps ac3 audio.
