Taper comments:
Mick looked healthy and in good spirits. He was playing his Les Paul throughout the show with the exception of "No Expectations", which he played with his white Strat.

Looking at the stage the position of the musicians was: Max - Mick - Jeff - Michael - Denny

The sound in the club was bad, especially during the first part of the show. The guitars where very low in the mix with Mick barely audible. From the fretwork I could see that he was playing fluidly but you could not hear his solos. I also had the impression that the famous vibratto was not there this evening. And the fire of the musicians did not catch over to the audience. Mick at some time said to the crowd that we were as silent as them (the musicians).

His voice/singing was OK but then we all know that he is no frontman and unfortunately with his back to the audience very often.

I did not stay after the show so I don't know whether Mick socialised with the people in the club.

I tried to hook up with the soundboard but did not have the necessary connectors - so I used my microphone instead and had the recorder set to apply a filter to r
educe background noises. My position was approx 20m from the stage in the back of the room.
