Music for
Montserrat
Royal Albert Hall, London (England) 15-Sep-1997
Introduction
Britain's rock stars came together in a one-off supergroup to raise more than $1 million for the volcano-ravaged Caribbean
island of Montserrat. The gig was billed as the biggest charity concert of the decade with all the stars
singing for free to help the once idyllic island. Forty countries, from Japan to the United States, have bought the concert which is also being
sold on pay television in Britain.
