A Slowhand Archive Project: SAP049

Note: Both sources for this dual-cam film has been out of circulation for 25+ years, only mentioned on a few traders lists from back in the VHS days. In early 2023 European friends of the Slowhand Archive Project helped locate a huge collection deep in the hills of mainland Europe. Luckily the collector wanted to share and during the summer several recordings were transferred, remastered and then released. Footage was synced to one of the best available audio recordings from this night, MR's mix "Strings Made of Diamonds". 

Non of the videos were complete, both missing segments during the first 35 minutes. All thanks to phr for sharing his collection with SAP. Thanks to the taper and "Living After Midnight". And finally, a special shout-out to the members in the audience getting beer during the Old Love solo. That takes dedication.

This is what it is all about! Time is passing, and some EC recordings might already be lost forever. Our goal is to ensure rare and unique recordings and films with Eric Clapton, are unearthed and shared for free with fellow EC music fans, before they are used as landfill by people not knowing the archival value these recordings possess.
